Gulmarg Gondola, Jammu Ropeway made operational

SRINAGAR: The government of Jammu and Kashmir has resumed the commercial operation of Gulmarg Gondola Section-I (Gulmarg–Kongdoori) from September 27, 2020, World Tourism Day and Section (2) of Jammu Ropeway from Bahu to Mahamaya from 3rd of October 2020.

The operations at both Ropeways are being carried out by observing all preventive protocols regarding Covid-19 like maintaining social distance, sanitization of cabins before and after boarding and de-boarding of passengers, compulsory wearing of masks by all.

For the tourists visiting Gulmarg and Jammu Ropeway, the govt.   has informed that no tourist is allowed to board both the Ropeways without wearing of masks and any tourist with temperature exceeding 99° Farenhiet shall not be allowed to enter the premises of the ropeways.

The Tourism department has invited the tourists to come  and enjoy the Gondola ride of Gulmarg Ropeway and Jammu Ropeway.
