Srinagar: Trade union organizations affiliated with CITU on Sunday held protest demonstration in Srinagar against the brutal gang-rape and murder of a Dalit girl in Hathras, UP.
Carrying placards and banners, the protesters raised slogans against the perpetrators of this heinous crime. They said the burial of the gang-rape victim in Hathras without her family’s consent was a blatant denial of justice.
The protestors demanded immediate resignation of UP CM Yogi Adityanath,
The protesters demanded arrest of the police personnel who refused to file an FIR and also against those responsible for the cruel act of forcible cremation.
They said that culprits responsible for the rape and murder should be hanged.
