Pandurang K Pole calls for massive anti- forest land encroachment drive

SRINAGAR : Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir Pandurang K Pole today called for massive drive against the illegal encroachment of forest land.

The Div Com said this while chairing a meeting of Deputy Commissioners and Revenue officers.

Expressing dismay over the illegal encroachment of Forest land, the Div Com stressed on massive anti encroachment drive against the encroachments.

He directed concerned to take stringent action against the fraudulent involved in such illegal activities and ensure immediate retrieval of the land.

He said that complaints regarding forest land encroachments shall be disposed off on war footing in all districts.

Later, the Div Com also chaired a weekly Covid-19 meeting.

The meeting among others was attended by all DCs and other concerned.

During the meeting, the Div Com took a detailed review of daily testing, contract tracing, oxygen supply, management of containment zones and other related issues.

He stressed on improvement in sampling and contact tracing and de-notifying of red zone areas during the meeting.
