SRINAGAR : Advisor to Lt Governor, KK Sharma today extended greetings to the people on the 151st birth anniversary of father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi.
In his message, the Advisor said that the philosophy as preached by the icon has more relevance in today’s context and we should steadfastly follow it. He said that the concept of self-reliant nation and ahimsa is being recognized as a means for achieving economic and spiritual objectives of our great country.
Advisor Sharma appealed the people especially the younger generation to imbibe the principles as propagated by Gandhain philosophy for living a blissful and contended life.
The Advisor further said that Gandhian values should be followed as they can bring peace to the world besides also helping mankind to wade through difficult and testing times.
