SRINAGAR : Apni Party has expressed hope for an early resumption of electoral process that can address aspirations of the people and help usher in the new era of peace and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir.
These remarks were made by Apni Party general secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir who along with the district president Anantnag Abdul Rahim Rather co-chaired a meeting of party office bearers and prominent party workers of the district at Dak Bunglow Khanabal.
Both the leaders called on the government of India to take an urgent call on conduct of elections for J&K as soon as possible. Due to the restrictions related to the COVID-19, the party had earlier decided to keep the physical meetings on hold and this was the Party’s first meeting of its kind, after the COVID restrictions were eased out in the district.
