Boy drowns to death in canal in Kangan

Baramulla: A 14-year-old boy drowned in river Jhelum while taking a bath in Boniyar area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday.

An official said that the boy drowned while taking a bath. “A few local youth jumped into the river to rescue the boy, but couldn’t find him in the water,” the official said.
