Srinagar: A 65-year-old man was critically injured in an attack by a bear in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Wednesday morning.
An official identified the man as Wali Mohammad Sheikh son of Habibullah Sheikh of Dolipora village in Tehsil Villgam of the district.
The sexagenarian was outside his home when the bear attacked him during the wee hours today, the official said.
SHO Villgam Mohammad Suleiman while talking to GNS said that the man has been shifted to a Srinagar hospital for advanced treatment. (GNS)
