Baramulla: National investigation agency (NIA) on Tuesday morning conducted raids in different parts of area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district and raided residential house of BJP Mohila Morcha at Boniyar.

A top police official said the NIA sleuths, accompanied by paramilitary CRPF and police, raided the house of Ghulam Rasool Waza at Palhallan Pattan,  Shaheen Ahmad Lone of Kanispora and BJP Mahila Morcha leader Haleema in Boniyar Baramulla  and the search continued for several hours.

Sources added that Govt quarter in Baramulla where Haleema is residing these days was also raided.

Sources said that during the early morning raid, all the documents present in the house along with Cheque Books and Mobile Phones of all the family members were seized off for further investigation.

 “The raids are conducted by the NIA allegedly in connection with “terror funding” cases and the probe against suspended J&K DSP Davinder Singh.,” an official of the NIA said.

Pertinently, since past three years many Hurriyat leaders and businessmen were arrested in an alleged terror funding cases.
