Jan Abhiyan: Samba admin prioritizes filling of infrastructural gaps for improving essential services

SAMBA : District Administration Samba has decided to address the issues of immediate nature including provision for better essential services being projected by the locals at Panchayat level Jan Sunvaye meetings.

In this regard, District Development Commissioner   convened a meeting with all the Nodal officers of Jan Abhiyan Programme and reviewed daily reporting, achievements and docket file of each panchayat.

The DDC, taking cognisance of the demands of general public, ordered   to assess and address the deficits in the infrastructural gaps prevalent with respect to the departments of Jal Shakti, PDD and PWD, the district heads of these departments shall be deployed in each block as per the roaster daily and directed that a result oriented approach should be employed for resolving any inter departmental issues and efforts be made for proving relief to general public.

Meanwhile, District Samba’s nine blocks today witnessed a huge participation of Panchayat   representatives and locals during the ongoing Jan Abhiyan Programme wherein constructive interaction with Public Officers was held and the local issues got prioritised with a result oriented approach of different departmental convergence.

The designated Nodal Officers under the direct supervision of District Development Commissioner, Samba Rohit Khajuria interacted with members of Panchayati Raj Institutions and locals at each panchayat of nine blocks and addressed their issues.

On-spot domicile certificates, pension sanctioning, scholarship sanctioning, SC certificates, RBA certificates, OBC certificates, ALC certificates, EWS certificates were   issued after proper verification.
