DC urges for maximum possible testing in G’bl

GANDERBAL : Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal today chaired a meeting of Health Department where he urged upon the Block Medical Officers to ensure maximum possible Rapid Antigen testing in their concerned blocks to minimize the spread of disease.

During the meeting the DC sought details from the concerned BMOs about the progress of tests done in their respective blocks and status of services provided to the patients in home isolation.

While reviewing the health services provided to the patients in home isolation, the DC exhorted upon the DMOs to ensure home isolation protocol is followed strictly by the patients and take stringent action against violators.

The DC while addressing the meeting said that such testing drives are aimed at early detection of cases and timely measures for isolation or treatment for controlling the spread of pandemic.

He exhorted upon the teams to continue their efforts and ensure maximum aggressive Rapid Antigen testing is conducted in all Red Zone areas and to all service providers of the district.

Among others, the meeting was attended by ADC Ganderbal, Farooq Ahmad Baba, CMO Ganderbal, DHO, BMOs and other officials from Heath Department.
