Advisor Sharma reviews preparations for holding of NEP-2020 conferences

SRINAGAR : Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, K K Sharma today chaired a meeting to review preparations being done for organizing of two conferences for implementation of National Education Policy (NEP)- 2020 which would be held on 20th and 21st September at Srinagar and Jammu respectively  through Video Conferencing in which the President of India would be addressing virtually.

Vice Chancellors of Jammu, Kashmir Universities Dr. Manoj Dhar, Prof. Talat Ahmad, Principal Secretary School Education Dr. Asgar Samoon, Commissioner Secretary Higher Education, Talat Parvez , Chairperson JKBOSE, Prof Veena Pandita,  Directors Education Jammu, Kashmir, Anuradha Gupta , Younis Malik, Director Skill Development Parvez Sajad Ganai, Director Samagra Siksha , Arun Manhas Principal Government Women College, Yasmina Shahi attended the meeting which was done through Video Conferencing.

The meeting was held in relation to the initiative that the Government of Jammu and Kashmir would be organizing two conferences at the capital cities of Jammu and Srinagar of Academicians and others involved in education sector to discuss the road map for implementation of NEP -2020.

The meeting discussed the process of organizing the conferences including the finalization of themes, the schedule and other related matters for holding it successfully.
