Injured in motor blast, soldier succumbs in Sgr military hospital

Baramulla  A soldier from 11 Mahar unit, who was injured on Sunday due to electronic motor blast in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, succumbed to his injuries on Monday, officials said.

Quoting officials, news agency KNO reported that a soldier sustained critical injuries due to an electronic motor blast at Jaggu Post of 11 Mahar on 23 August. He was shifted to 92 Base Military Hospital Srinagar in critical condition for treatment, where he has succumbed to his injuries this afternoon.

An official identified the deceased soldier as Sepoy Manish of 11 Mahar. A case been registered in this regard and further investigation has been taken up, he said.
