NEET UG 2020 exam on September 13

Srinagar: NEET UG 2020 examination will be conducted on September 13, National Testing Agency (NTA) announced through a notification issued today.

A total of 1597433 students are appearing in the exams, the notification reads.

The notification read that the admit cards of the candidates will be released shortly and around 99.87 percent candidates will be accommodated against their first preference of the Centre, adding elaborate arrangements have been made to sanitize examination centres before and after the conduct of the exams.

The concerned authorities will also provide fresh masks and hand gloves as per the request of the candidates.

The NTA has also written to state Chief Secretaries, Director General of Police, District Magistrates and SPs of the concerned cities to solicit their support for maintaining law and order conditions, power supply, facilitation of movement of candidates and exam functionaries, crowd management in front of exam centres.

The NTA further stated that the exams for JEE (Mains) will be conducted from September 01 to 06 for which it has already released the admit cards of the candidates as well.

“Out of 858273 candidates, around 649223 have downloaded the admit cards,” the notification reads.
