Srinagar: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Tuesday has expressed grief and sorrow over the sad demise of father of senior PDP leader and former Minister Syed Farooq Andrabi.

PDP spokesman and party’s media advisor Syed Suhail Bukhari has commiserated with Farooq Andrabi and conveyed condolences to the bereaved family on behalf of the party.

Senior party leaders who have expressed solidarity with the bereaved family are Vice President Ab Rehman Veeri, General Secretary Gh Nabi Lone Hanjura, Sartaj Madni, Naeem Akhtar, Peerzada Mansoor, Nizam ud din Bhat, Dr Mehboob Beigh, Zahoor Ahmad Mir, Muhammad Khurshid Alam, Fayaz Ahmad Mir, Mohammad Yousuf Bhat  Aijaz Ahmad Mir, Bari Andrabi, Abdul Salam Reshi, , Waheed parra , Dr Harbakhsh Singh, Tahir Sayed. They also prayed for Jannah for the departed soul.

Meanwhile, the party has condoled the demise of the uncle of senior PDP leader and former MLC Mohd Khurshid Alam, Haji Syed Ghulam din Shah.  Expressing solidarity with the bereaved family, the party has prayed for the highest place of Jannah for the departed soul.
