Drug peddler arrested in Sopore
Srinagar: Police on Monday said they have arrested a drug peddler and recovered contraband substance from his possession in Sopore.
At a checkpoint near Shirpora Tujjar crossing, police intercepted one Waseem Akbar Dar alias Gash Dar, a resident of Batlipora Tujjar, and recovered 630 grams of ‘Charas’ (cannabis) from his possession. He has been arrested and shifted to Police Station Bomai where he remains in custody, police spokesman said addig a case has been registered against him.
