Srinagar: Body of a 50-year-old man was found near GB Pant Hospital here on Monday, officials said.

A police officer told GNS said that locals spotted the body near the hospital and accordingly contacted concerned police station.

Later a police team reached the spot and retrieved the body.

The deceased has been identified as a resident of Saraibal who is known by nickname ‘Tita’, the official said.

He said that a case under the relevant section of law has been also registered and further investigation was taken up. (GNS)
