Goods gutted as fire engulfs footwear shop in Sheeri

Baramulla: Goods worth lakhs of rupees were gutted as fire broke out in a shop, ‘Bhat Brothers Footwear’, at Sheeri market in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

According to reports, the fire broke out in the shop at around 9.30 pm soon after the shopkeeper had shut his shop.

The cause of fire is stated to be short circuit.

Police has registered a case in this regard and an investigation is going on.
