Advisors to Lt Governor greet people on Janamashtami

SRINAGAR: Advisors to Lieutenant Governor have extended their greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on eve of Janmashtami.

While extending his greetings, Advisor Bhatnagar said that Lord Krishna’s message of standing up for righteousness against evil, working for universal well-being and focusing on responsibilities rather than rewards is inspiring for all. “The ideals of Lord Krishna’s life are of universal relevance.”

The Advisor added that on this occasion we should commit ourselves to following the path of virtue shown by Lord Krishna and strengthen our society and nation by contributing to the well-being of our people and society in large.

Advisor Bhatnagar  appealed  the people to follow necessary guidelines put in view of the global pandemic of the COVID 19 while celebrating the occasion and advised them to strictly follow the concept of Social distancing.

The Advisor also prayed for the peace, progress and prosperity of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

Meanwhile, Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, KK Sharma extended his warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Shree Krishna Janamashtami.

In a message of felicitation, the Advisor observed that Lord Krishna was an eternal example of selflessness, truth and justice for all. He said that we should steadfastly follow and observe his teachings for living a spiritual and contended life.

The Advisor exuded hope that the occasion would further strengthen the social harmony and amity among different sections of society.

The Advisor appealed people to celebrate the festival in adherence to all the SOPs and guidelines issued by the Administration with regard to COVID-19.

He prayed for the peace and prosperity in the UT and extended his best wishes for well-being of the people of J&K.

Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Farooq Khan extended his warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on eve of Janmashtami.

In his message the Advisor maintained that the life and teachings of Lord Krishna have a universal message as they signify the triumph of virtue over vice and righteousness over evil.

The Advisor also prayed for the peace, progress and prosperity of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

Meanwhile, Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Baseer Ahmad Khan extended his warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on eve of Janmashtami.

Extending his greetings, the Advisor said that the festival celebrates the life and eternal teachings of Lord Krishna like discipline, knowledge, and selfless action.

Advisor Baseer Khan added that on this occasion, we should rededicate ourselves to the teachings of Lord Krishna and work for the creation of a peaceful, harmonious and enlightened society.

He advised people to celebrate this festival in adherence to all the SOPs and guidelines issued by the Administration.

The Advisor also prayed for the peace, progress and prosperity of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
