DODA: In an encouraging development, the number of active covid cases in Doda district has dropped to 90 with the recovery of twenty seven more patients, who had tested positive.
The covid positive patients, hailing from different areas, were kept under medical observation at GMC Doda and other covid care centres. They were discharged after their tests were found negative for the virus, repeatedly.
With these recoveries, the tally of active cases in the district has reduced to 90, while the total number of the recovered patients has reached to 200.
As per the officials, the process of discharge was done in the presence of the health authorities and the persons were directed to stay in home quarantine for some time as per the set SOP and also as a precautionary measure.
