Srinagar : Jammu and Kashmir Peoples’ Conference general secretary Imran Reza Ansari on Friday extended warm greeting to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
“On the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, I extend my warm greetings and good wishes to people of Jammu and Kashmir. May this Eid be the harbinger of peace, progress and prosperity and strengthen the bonds of communal harmony and brotherhood in our state,” Ansari said in his statement
“Eid also embeds the message of remembering economically downtrodden and underprivileged people who are worst affected by the COVID-19 lockdown. We appeal people to make them part of the Eid Celebration by extending financial & other support to them. The party also urged the people to avoid wastage of food and resources and be conscious towards their neighbours, orphans and the needy”, he added.
