Baramulla, July 27: A 13-year-old boy drowned after slipping into river Jehlum in Delina area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Locals said that a Class 7th student identified as Hanan Ahmad Dar son of Javaid Ahmad Dar of Ravathpora Delina was taking bath along with friends in river Jehlum .
” As he was diving into river, he slipped at the bank of the river and fell into it resulting into his drowning,” witness said.
Police along with locals launched search operation, however, there were no traces of the boy when this report was being filed.
