Anantnag: Anantnag Working Journalist Association (AWJA) on Tuesday condoled the sad demise of Peer Ghulam Nabi, father of senior journalist Shah Hilal, and prayed for the departed soul.
In a statement, AWJA President Tassaduq Rashid alongwith other members of the association expressed condolences with the bereaved family and colleague Shah Hilal and prayed for the departed soul.
The contribution of deceased in propagation of Islam and his social work was remarkable and widely hailed, the statement said adding that the deceased was one of the prominent faces of Dooru Shahabad and his contribution will always be remembered.
