SRINAGAR: Election for the post of Srinagar Mayor which was scheduled for today has now been deferred by two days till Thursday, July 16, Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) Secretary, Sofi Akbar said.
It may be in place to mention that former Srinagar Mayor and Peoples Conference (PC) leader, Junaid Azim Mattu and former Deputy Mayor, Sheikh Imran will be contesting fresh election for the post of Mayor Srinagar scheduled to be held on Thursday.
