Srinagar, July 14 (GNS): Director General of Police Dilbag Singh’s sample for covid-19 has returned negative.

The swab sample of the top police officer of J&K was taken along with a number of police officers after an Assistant Inspector General (AIG) in PHQ was reported Covid-19 positive. The DGP confirmed that his sample returned negative.

Meanwhile, official sources told GNS that test report of ADGP also came out to be negative even as results of some other senior officers is still awaited.

The swabs sample of several officers and officials including IGPs, DIGs and SSPs, is being collected today, the sources added. (GNS)
