JKSSB issues clarification regarding Accounts Assistant (Panchayat) advertisement notification

JAMMU : The J&K Services Selection Board (JKSSB) today issued Corrigendum and Addendum in relation to Accounts Assistant (Panchayat) Advertisement Notification No. 02 of 2020 dated 06-02-2020 for the post of Accounts Assistant(Panchayat).

In a statement issued here by the recruitment board it said the corrigendum has been issued in pursuance of the communication No. RD&PR/Adm/41/2019 dated: 08-07-2020 of the Department of RDD & Panchayati Raj requesting JKSSB to read ALC as “Line of Actual Control/International Border” in all the 20 Indents referred by it instead of “Actual Line of Control”. Accordingly, JKSSB has issued corrigendum in which all the concerned are informed that ALC Category wherever appearing in the aforesaid advertisement notice shall be read as ALC/ IB instead of ALC.

“The Board retreat that as notified through Advertisement Notice, the reservation for various reserved categories shall be governed by S.O 127 dated 20-04-2020,” the statement said.

Further, it said, Note No. 03 stating that “The syllabus for the written test will be notified shortly” shall be deemed to be deleted as the syllabus for this post is already enclosed in the Advertisement Notice as Annexure “B”.

“In addition, S. No given under column No. 01 of Table of Annexure ’A’ of this notification be read as Item No. instead of S.No. Moreover, it has also been stated that the reference to Notification No. S.O 1229(E) dated 31-03-2020  of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt of India shall be treated as reference to  Domicile S.O 1229(E) dated 31-03-2020 read with SO 1245(E) dated 03-04-2020 in the said notification,” it said.

It said that in addition, JKSSB has also issued addendum to the detailed terms and conditions and inserted the following at Para 06(iv): “The Degrees/diplomas obtained through distance modes which are in consonance with the Govt. Order No.252-HE of 2012 dated 30.05.2012 shall be entertained, subject to the terms and conditions mentioned therein”.

Rest other terms and conditions remain unchanged in Notification no. 02 of 2020, the JKSSB’s statement added.
