Sumbal: A decapitated body was fished out from river Jehlum in Sumbal area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Saturday.
Witnesses said that one unidentified dead body without head and legs was found in river Jehlum at Sumbal by some locals. They informed police and body was fished out and later brought to CHC hospital Sumbal for medical formalities.
Identification of the slain man is being ascertained. A police officer said a case has been registered and further investigation has been initiated.
