Baramulla: Chief Executive Officer, Municipal Council Baramulla was suspended for dereliction of duties during the Coronavirus pandemic and attached with the office of Deputy Commissioner, Baramulla.
Pending inquiry in the matter, Wali Mohammad, Chief Executive Officer, Municipal Council Baramulla is placed under suspension with immediate effect and shall remain attached with DC Office Baramulla, reads an order issued by Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Dr. G N too.
“Tariq Ahmad Sheikh, Assistant Director, FCS&CA shall hold the charge of EO MC Baramulla in addition to his own duties,” the order said.
Meanwhile, according to order Assistant Commissioner Baramulla shall conduct the inquiry into the matter, who has been asked to submit his report within a period of 05 days.
