Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Party President, Member of Parliament from Srinagar Dr. Farooq Abdullah and party’s Vice President Omar Abdullah on Sunday expressed profound grief over the demise of mother of party’s district president Kulgam and former MLA Homeshalibugh Abdul Majeed Bhat Larmi.

Dr Farooq, while extending condolences to the bereaved family in particular to Larmi, said, “I am extremely saddened to hear about the passing away of Larmi Sbs mother. I hope and pray that the grief stricken family will have strength during this time of inconsolable loss. May the Almighty bestow highest echelons in Jannah to the departed soul. My heartfelt sympathies to the mournful family.”

Party Vice President while extending condolences to the mournful family prayed for eternal repose to the departed soul and much needed strength to the grief-stricken family.

“I am saddened to hear about the passing away of Larmi Sahib’s mother.  I pray for strength to the grief stricken family to bear the irreparable loss. I also pray to Almighty to grant the deceased highest station in Jannah.  I share the grief of family in particular my valued colleague Larmi Sahib,” he said.

Meanwhile, party President Dr Farooq Abdullah accompanied by Justice Hasnain Masoodi, and Sakina Itoo also visited the residence of party leader Abdul Majeed Bhat Larmi at Laram Kulgam to express his solidarity with him. Party President offered Fatiha for deceased and prayed for forbearance and strength to the family on their bereavement.

Party’s General Secretary Haji Ali Muhammad Sagar and other party leaders too condoled the demise.
