The statistics collected after the outbreak of the pandemic suggest a huge impact on economies of different nations of the world and the prolonged shutdowns that were enforce as part of preventive measures have left nearly  13 crore people without jobs- something we might not just be able to afford! Given this scenario, one can understand that the pandemic is going to caused terrible crisis’s in the world and many more shall lose their means of livelihood and earnings.

Having said this, we also know that human race must come up with innovative and fresh ideas for regulating life and its nitty-gritty and for ensuring that the damage done by the pandemic is undone in quick time- a fairly difficult task, I must say. New set of leaders, policy makers, fresh inventions, new methods of communication, new trend of marketing, new literature and thoughts must start arriving at the earliest.

There is no doubt about the fact that the massive changes in our routine life and the sheer number of CORONA causalities across the globe have caused severe anxiety, depression and despair in our hearts and minds but can we afford to out of action with regards to the emerging scenario? There isn’t going to be any easy answer to it but to cope up with the new reality of life, we have to start engaging with fresh ideas of reviving and designing a new world order, a new and better functioning structure of governance and societies. An open mind and practical approach is needed to pioneer and captain the ship of human civilization.

Let us not forget, Columbus dreamed of an unknown world, staked his life on the existence of such a world and found it to be true. Henry Ford, poor and un-educated, dreamed of a horseless carriage – worked with what tools he possessed without waiting for a ‘proper opportunity’ to favor him. Thomas Edison,Wright Brothers, Einstein and many more have set the precedence for discovering and inventing things not in the wildest of the imaginations of people.

We are all ambitious dreams and we must not surrender this gift. This is the time when creative and innovative approach is needed to fix something gone terribly wrong and in doing so we shall be doing a great service to the entire human race.  Ofcourse there won’t be any quick fixes and it might take years to overcome the impacts of COVID and the lockdown that followed it, but the world cannot afford to stay quite.
