Dr Tasaduk honored with ‘Corona Warrior Award’

Srinagar: Dr Tasaduk Hussain Itoo has been honored with “Corona Warrior Award” in recognition for his contributions in fighting the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

Hailing from Poshkreri Village of South Kashmir’s Anantnag District, Dr Tasaduk being a passionate doctor by profession, also works as a motivational speaker, activist, well-known columnist, educator, journalist and Chairman cum Director of an umbrella organization, Jammu and Kashmir Innovative Foundation for Transforming Society (JKIFTS).

Dr Tasaduk received this award from Nirbhay Bharat Foundation headed by Tarun Uppal (Founder/Chairperson, Nirbhay Bharat Foundation), a renowned social activist and national core committee member Anna Hazare Anti-corruption Movement. It was supported by Human Rights Council of India.

The award was also given to many media persons, police officers, social workers and medical professionals of high national repute – who are playing an immense role through various aspects in fighting ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic crisis in India.

Among the other prominent figures who received the award include Mukesh Singh IGP, SSP Sandeep Mehta, SSP Vinay Sharma, SP city P D Nitya, Anil Bhat Bureau Chief PTI, Pradeep Dutta State Head Times Now, Jb. Sohail Kazmi eminent journalist, Raju Kerni State Head Zee News, Kosheen Koul DSP including other health officials and social workers
