Baramulla: A 40-year old man was found dead under mysterious conditions in Sheeri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday morning.

Police sources told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that a man identified as Akthar Hussian, son of Mehbob Alam of Sinpora Delina was found dead in Sheeri village.

They said police after being informed, reached the spot and took the body into their custody for legal formalities.

The body was later handed over to the family for last rites, reports added. Meanwhile, Station House Officer (SHO) Sheeri said that  a case under the relevant act was registered while further investigation has been taken up.
