J&K Police observes Anti-Terrorism Day

Jammu: Director General of Police J&K Dilbag Singh led the officers and Jawans in commemorating the National Anti-Terrorism Day pledge across the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

Simple but impressive functions were organised observing COVID-19 protocols, and  all preventive measures like maintaining social distance and wearing of masks in the respective districts/units and offices Officers and jawans took pledge to continue their fight against the “menace of terrorism”.

The DGP read out the pledge to the officers and jawans at office of Superintendent Police Operation Srinagar.

On the occasion, the DGP said: “J&K Police is on the forefront against the terrorism since last more than three decades. He said our hundreds of officers and jawans have sacrificed their lives in protecting the sovereignty and integrity of the nation”.

“The J&K Police will continue to fight the menace of terrorism to maintain the peaceful environment of Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.
