Kulgam: At least 21 cops who are posted in Kulgam district have been tested positive for Covid-19 on Thursday, officials said here.

A senior police official said that 21 cops who are posted at Reserve camp in higher secondary school Chawalgam have been tested positive for COVID-19

“They are posted at HSS Chawalgam from last 3 months and not in DPL Kulgam.”

He further added that one cop among the reserve company was tested positive few days ago after which samples of all cops posted there were taken.

Pertinently, around 80 policemen have been tested positive for Covid-19 in Kashmir division so far. (KNO)
