SRINAGAR: Consequent upon constitution of new Board of Management of J&K State Cooperative Bank, the Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Pandurang K Pole who is also chairman J&K State Cooperative Bank Saturday convened a meeting to review the functioning of the Bank.

The meeting held threadbare deliberations on various issues of the bank and took some decisions for strengthening and streamlining its day to day affairs.

The Chairman stressed for ensuring better customer service at all its business units and maintaining accountability and transparency in routine bank affairs.

The meeting also constituted two member Audit Committee for the bank including President J&K Bank and Chartered Accountant from Board of Directorate as its members to ensure accountability and transparency in the bank.

The meeting was attended by president J&K Bank, Ms Rajni Saraf, Additional Registrar Cooperatives,  Mohammed Yousuf, Charted Account, Ms Murtaza Khan and other concerned besides, General Manager NABARD also participated in the meeting  through video conferencing.
