‘Naikoo's killing a huge blow to militancy'
Srinagar: As many as 64 militants have been killed since January this year in 27 counter militancy operations across Jammu and Kashmir, a top police officer said here today.

“25 active militants were also arrested,” he said.
Terming Hizb top commander, Reyaz Ahmad Naikoo’s killing a ‘big success for security forces and a major jolt Hizb and militancy network in Kashmir’, Kumar said the killing will help contain over all militancy in Valley.
The IGP said the Lashkar commander Haider’s killing was also a big jolt for the group.
Kumar said the militants involved in Handwara attack in which three CRPF men were killed have been identified and they belong to Lashkar.
The IGP termed the new militant outfit with the name The Resistance Front (TRF) as a “shadow of Lashkar”.
