Srinagar: One person died and another three were injured on Friday when a tractor in which they were travelling turned turtle in north Kashmir’s Sopore area of Baramulla district.
Reports said that in Yambren Hardushiva area of Sopore, a tractor skidded off the road and turned turtle resulting in on spot death of one person and injuries to three others.
The deceased, according to an official, was identified as Ayaz-ud-din Baba son of Ghulam Qadir Baba of Hardishiva Sopore. He was an employee in Public Health Engineering (PHE) department.
All the injured were evacuated to nearby hospital for treatment. Police has also registered a case under relevant sections of law. (KNS)
