JAMMU: Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Farooq Khan today conveyed his Labour Day wishes to people of Jammu and Kashmir and in particular to all the working class and their families.

In his message, Advisor Khan extended his best wishes to the labourers who have the greatest contribution in formation and development of any nation.

He called for a firm resolve in this hour of COVID-19 pandemic to combat the spread of disease by following Government’s guidelines.

He also said that the government is committed for the upliftment of labour class and has initiated several schemes to ensure availability of basic facilities for labourers and workers.

He further said that during the Pandemic the labour force has remained main focus of the government and several measures are being taken in order to support them during the lockdown period.
