Srinagar, Apr 22: An online painting competition was organised for the students of Army Goodwill School, Budkot on the occasion of the 50th World Earth Day, a defense spokesman said in a statement issued today.
The spokesman said that the students and teachers keenly participated in the event to make it a success which was evident from the talent showcased. The competition was aimed to promote awareness about our planet, encourage extracurricular activities amongst the youth as well as help children develop their fine arts skills. The participants came up with spectacular art that expressed their vivid imagination on canvas.
