Kupwara: Sub Divisional Magistrate Karnah escaped unhurt along with his guard and diver after a snow avalanche hit their vehicle at Sadhna top this afternoon.
Officials told Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that this afternoon, the vehicle of SDM Karnah Dr Bilal was hit by snow at Sadhna. “The SDM had left for Kupwara from Karnah Tangdhar early this afternoon and upon reaching Sadhna top, a snow avalanche hit their vehicle and buried it.”
“In the incident, diver of the vehicle suffered minor injuries, while as the SDM and his security guard were rescued safely under the snow with no injuries,” the official said.
