KUPWARA, APRIL 19: The Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Karnah, Dr. Bilal Mohiddin Bhat today convened a meeting with Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Tangdhar and ZEO Chamkote to review the progress of online teaching-learning process in the Sub Division amid COVID-19 crisis.

The meeting discussed various strategies regarding educating the children at home so that there no more academic loss due to lockdown.

The SDM directed the concerned to continue providing online lectures to the students, who have proper mobile and internet connectivity. He also directed them to frame offline assignments for the students who have poor or no internet connectivity especially in border areas of Tangdar and Chamkote education zones. The assignments have to be delivered at the doorsteps of such students.

Meanwhile, the SDM informed that people coming from outside the Sub Division will be screened for any possible symptoms at Baghbella and will be put in administrative or home quarantine of 14 days, whichever is decided by the medical team. He added that such persons are also required to fill a self declaration form about the travel history and other relevant information.
