Congress urges UT admin to review NHM job policy

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) has urged the UT Administration to review NHM job policy.

In a statement issued here, the Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G.A. Mir has drawn the attention of the UT Administration towards the “miseries” of NHM employees, who are working neck to neck with their regular counterparts, while having achieved nothing even after 12 years of service.

JKPCC President said NHM workers were working vigorous in any untoward situation, but it was very unfortunate that there was no job security to them, which needs be addressed, at right earnest.

“The NHM employees have approached concerned authorities on various occasion, but nothing seems to have be done in their favour,” G.A. Mir said.

JKPCC president urged the UT Administration to review the NHM job policy inorder to ensure job security to employees, for fact they too serve the society to best of their ability, G.A. Mir added and sought early action to this effect.
