SMC installs decontamination tunnel at J&K High Court

SRINAGAR: Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) installed and made operational a decontamination tunnel at Jammu and Kashmir, High Court, here today.

Commissioner SMC, Gazanfar Ali, Secretary SMC, Sofi Mohammad Akbar and other concerned were present on the occasion.

The tunnel was installed at the entry point of the High Court building to ensure persons visiting the court get sanitized instantly while entering or leaving the premises.

Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner said that SMC has already installed decontamination tunnels in all the major hospitals of Srinagar.

“We are installing such tunnels at other places of public importance also,” he added.
