The humanity is facing grave challenges due to COVID-19. I suggest you all to pray for the safety of humanity (Sarbat Da Bhalla). We should not forget to offer a special prayer for all those frontline warriors who are risking their own lives to save the lives of others. They are Doctors, Nurses, Ambulance drivers, chemists, pharmacy owners, hospital guards, sweepers, et al. They are working tirelessly 24/7 to serve the people.

J&K Police is also working shoulder to shoulder with the civil administration. The SMC workers are doing a great service to their community as they sanitize the locality, where a positive case is reported. The volunteers are delivering essential commodities and medicines are to the people.

Last but not least, media persons are present on the ground as they provide us minute-by-minute coverage of the coronavirus as we stay safe and cozy in our homes.

All the aforementioned warriors have surrendered their comfort for the comfort of all. They deserve a big salute for their courage. I pray for their protection.

It is our responsibility to take care of ourselves and others. This Baiskhi lets not buy clothes and bakery, but utilize the money in a proper manner by helping the needy and poor.

On the occasion of “Khalsa Panth Saajna Divas” (Baisakhi), I extend my heartfelt greetings to the whole world. May Almighty save us from this COVID-19 pandemic.
