Father electrocuted, son injured in Baramulla
Baramulla: One person died as he came in contact with a live wire while repairing an electric water pump in Binner area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday. His son, who tried to save him, got injured.
The deceased has been identified as Abdul Rehman Sheikh (65) who sustained severe electric shocks when he was repairing an electric water pump resulting into his on the spot death. The deceased was former employee of PDD.
His son Ashiq Ahmad Sheikh, who went to save his father also sustained critical injuries, and was referred to GMC Baramulla for medical treatment. His condition as per medicos is stated to be stable.
