SRINAGAR: On the directions of Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Pandurang K Pole, the authorities had setup round the clock COVID-19 related control room, under the supervision of Nodal Officer & Revenue Attorney, Qazi Masood, at Div Com office.

The control room receives hundreds of calls from all over the country regarding COVID-19 related grievances. Proper call inventory is being made and complaints are being forwarded to the concerned departments on real time basis so that caller’s grievance is immediately redressed.

The control room also received calls regarding ration, life saving drugs, inter- district movement passes, Chemotherapy cases and other grievances which have been sent to the concerned departments for timely action.

On daily basis, Control Room also compiles a complete report from ten district control rooms of the valley and submit the same to the concerned quarters for quick redressal.

Twenty employees of concerned departments sit in the control room round the clock, on roaster wise duty chart with dedicated land line, toll free numbers and three wireless sets.

The control room has 24×7 land line numbers which are 01942459750, 01942459760, Mobile number 9906128430 and Toll Free number 18001807155.

For stranded residents of the valley outside UT, Jammu & Kashmir Resident Commission, New Delhi had also established round the clock help line numbers. Those facing any issue due to lockdown have been asked to contact helpline numbers 9717355186, 9810314773, 24611210, 24611108, 24615475 or access the email- jkhsdelhi@gmail.com to register their grievances.
