Excise dept donates Rs 2 cr towards J&K Relief Fund

JAMMU: Financial Commissioner, Finance, A. K. Mehta today presented a cheque of Rs 2 crores to the Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu as a contribution to J&K Relief Fund towards the efforts being undertaken to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. The amount has been contributed out of the CSR Corpus fund generated by the department, liquor industry and traders

Bipul Pathak, Principal Secretary to Lieutenant Governor and Rajesh Kumar Shavan, Excise Commissioner were present on the occasion.
