SRINAGAR: Gazetted Officers of Department of Horticulture today decided to contribute two-day salary while non-Gazetted employees would donate one-day salary to COVID-19 relief fund.
The decision was taken during emergency meeting called by Director Horticulture Kashmir, Ajaz Ahmad Bhat wherein all officers at Divisional Level as well as District Level were linked up via Whatsapp.
Director Horticulture appraised the officers need to contribute towards the welfare fund created by Government as a symbolic gesture to be part of mitigational plan being executed by the Government for the welfare of the fellow citizens.
