SHOPIAN: Under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner (DC), Shopian, Chaudhary Mohammed Yasin the food supplies and LPG has been delivered at the doorsteps of residents of the district by the department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs of district Shopian.
DC said that home delivery of essential will continue during the lockdown period and requirement of every household will be fulfilled. He said that no stone will be left unturned to help the people of the district during these extraordinary times.
He elaborated that these steps have been taken by the district administration in view of restrictions on public movement to control the spread of Covid-19 and break the chain of this infection.
The householders have been asked to put forward their requirements to the service agencies and be assured that the food supplies and LPG will be delivered to them at their doorsteps.
DC appealed people of the district to stay at homes and not to roam on the streets unnecessarily to help in controlling the spread of virus and delivery of essential commodities without any inconvenience.
