SRINAGAR: Amid Coronavirus (COVID-19) scare, the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Pandurang K Pole today visited Chest Disease (CD) hospital at Drugjan, Dalgate and Jawahar Lal Nehru Memorial (JLMN) Hospital Rainawari to review ground zero arrangements made by health departments.

On the occasion, he was briefed by concerned officers about arrangements which have been put in place for isolation and quarantine purpose at the hospitals which include adequate stock of testing kits, protection gears and other equipments besides ventilators, to tackle the spread of Corona Virus.

During his visit to the quarantine facility established at he asked the officials to follow the proper health guidelines carefully. He directed the officials to provide every care and facility to the suspected patients.

The Divisional Commissioner directed hospital authorities for maintaining proper cleanliness and sanitation with fumigation in and around the premises of health institutes.

Director Health Services, Dr Sameer Mattoo, Principal GMC Dr Saima Rashid, Deputy Director Health Services and other concerned officers were accompanied with the Divisional Commissioner.
