COVID-19: Dist Admin Pulwama issues advisory to Banks

PULWAMA, MARCH 19: Deputy   Commissioner Pulwama, Dr Raghav Langer today issued an advisory asking people not to visit Banks, ATMs and other vulnerable places unnecessarily where probability of Corona Virus contact is high.

He directed the concerned authorities to ensure cleanliness and sanitization of offices, Banks, entry door handles, entry door curtains, common infrastructure, ATM key pads, entry door handles after transactions is being done for the effective containment of infection.

The Deputy Commissioner said that as many as 3000 hand sanitizers have been distributed among Government offices and people are regularly sensitized about the precautionary measures that need to be taken to avert the threat of highly infectious disease.

He added that people should frequently use hand sanitizers, soaps, avoid gatherings and unnecessary travel.
